Horton Lakes comprised residential, townhouse, commercial and industrial development bordering newly constructed lakes and fairways for the Horton Park Golf Club. The land was purchased from the golf club on the proviso that when the fairways were constructed with fill from the lake excavation, they would be sold back to the club with the adjoining land being developed. A good result was achieved for all parties.
