D&R Dunworth Pty Ltd is a specialist real estate advisory, investment, development and project management company. We source investment and development opportunities on behalf of retirement and investment funds and significant private clients, with a specific emphasis on building long-term relationships and maintaining confidentiality.
Real estate has been at the core of what we do since the company was founded in 1988 by David Dunworth. We now invest in the full spectrum of office, retail, warehouse, distribution facilities and factories, as well as mixed-use residential and showroom developments.
Our expertise and growing track record over the last 30 years has led us to capitalise on development opportunities for our clients, with a focus on achieving superior financial outcomes for their portfolios.
From the outset we have advised external owners on the development and investment process, guiding them from acquisition to final disposal. In recent years we have also acted very successfully as a commercial buyer’s agent in office, showroom, retail and industrial investments. Key People

Managing Director, David Dunworth, has over 40 years’ experience in real estate investment, advisory, valuation, development, project management and other asset management services.
David was a Registered Valuer and for many years David was a judge and panel chair for the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s annual Awards for Excellent. David is responsible for all property investment, management and development activities and drives the value enhancement strategies adopted for individual properties. He has extensive experience in all facets of property investment and development and is able to offer very sound advice on:

David’s real estate career began after university with Ray White Real Estate, where he progressed from a salesman to a director of the group, before joining D&R Dunworth Pty Ltd.
David played rugby for the Wallabies and Queensland and was awarded an Australian Sports Medal in 2000 and an Order of Australia Medal in 2022. He was also the Member for Sherwood in the Queensland Parliament for a period before re-entering business. He enjoys bushwalking, cycling, scuba diving, pistol shooting and supporting Brothers Rugby Club, the Wallabies the Queensland Reds and spending time with family and friends.
